And the book is (thankfully) safe when Olivia deposits his blazer on him, the cold from the fabric seeping into his skin with a soft "ah". The smell of mysterious lavender is overpowering, even if being in this apartment should've dulled his senses to it by now, and he tucks the book under his arm before he stands, wringing his jacket right onto her floor.
